Matan Van Buren was one of the many real estate agents I had contacted in 2013 during the process of planning to move from Alberta to Toronto for our retirements.  After a few months of long distance communication via emails and phone calls, my wife and I decided to meet Matan in person in our following visit to Toronto.  The impression Matan projected in our first face to face meeting was exactly as we had expected; sincere, polite, professional and well prepared.

After showing us five to six condo units, we decided to put in an offer to a unit in North York.  Matan was very helpful throughout the entire offering and closing process.  Since our stay in Ontario was limited, a lot of documents were transmitted electronically, yet everything went through smoothly without any glitches.

Due to various factors in my career as well as family and personal reasons, I had deferred my retirement plan and am still staying in Alberta.  Therefore, we decided to lease out the condo unit we just purchased.  Matan has also been extremely helpful in managing the leasing process, including listing, interviewing and screening potential tenants as well as providing us advice on length of leases and up to date/fair market rental fees.  He also acts on our behalf as the contact with the tenants for any issues with the unit including coordinating with contractors for maintenance and upgrading.  We are completely satisfied and gratified with the property management service provided by Matan.
